Heat-Map Analysis ships as a ready-made rule and is configured for your site. The rule counts people in a defined area anonymously and tracks density continuously. No identity data is processed — only counts and occupancy. When a threshold is exceeded an event is raised and the alert reaches the right team. Processing runs on Edge, GDPR-compliant by design.

How false alarms are reduced
Heavy overlap, mirrors/reflections and wide-angle distortion can affect counts. Camera placement, counting-line position and scene calibration improve accuracy.
