ANPR — Stay Duration ships as a ready-made rule and is configured for your site. The rule measures how long a person or object stays in a defined area. When the dwell threshold is exceeded an event is produced — used for queues, idle waiting or occupation scenarios. Dwell tracking is anonymous and runs on Edge.

How false alarms are reduced
Brief disappearance and reappearance (occlusion) can disturb dwell measurement. Tracking tolerance, a minimum-duration threshold and zone definition reduce drift.
Alert and action
The data produced is anonymous and lands in the store-operations dashboard; no person is identified and raw video stays on site — GDPR-compliant by design.
